The Business Design Boutique helps start-ups and small businesses to make their business look simply better in DIY mode. Customers can buy high-quality design templates created by design experts and edit them on their own after purchase (including template-specific, multilingual video trainings). The Business Design Boutique is a modern do-it-yourself design shop by offering an uncomplicated solution for a quick start into self-employment.
We developed the branding, logo design and website design to convey the Business Design Boutique to the outside world as a high-quality, uncomplicated and modern brand.
LOGO DESIGN
The logo design of the Business Design Boutique combines a feel-good lettering and a logo symbol that smartly merges the capital letters BDB. The BDB logo symbol ensures a high recognition value and is very easy to read in small web applications. The visual focus on the three letters BDB allows for the hashtag #bdb to be used in social media.
The colour gradient in the BDB symbol gives the logo design additional dynamics, radiance and ensures the desired flexibility for the longevity of the brand, especially in the digital environment.
Rounded corners instead of sharp edges convey a sense of friendliness, happiness and simplicity - values that the brand stands for.
The Baloo font was chosen for the lettering, which can also be found on buttons and eye-catchers in order to create a visual connection to the logo design. The logo symbol BDB was set with the font Finador Black and manual fine tuning.
COLOURS
The colour world of the Business Design Boutique is fresh and distinctive. It transports feelings of simplicity, cheerfulness and modernity, reflecting the brand's values. The secondary colours complement the primary colours to ensure maximum flexibility in visual communication.

The fonts Bitter and Fira Sans serve as the the corporate fonts for the Business Design Boutique. Baloo can be seen in the logo as well as in buttons and eye-catchers. Bitter is a typeface that conveys stability and a serious business character with its distinctive serifs. It is used for headings and sub-headers to give the headings more weight. Fira Sans is a sans serif typeface with a wide variety of weights in the font family. It is used for all paragraph texts and legal texts (in condensed style), provides perfect readability and a good contrast to the serif headings in Bitter.

SECONDARY STYLE ELEMENT (SSE) AND PATTERN
The secondary style element (SSE) is derived from the symbol in the logo design (it was created by filling in all the empty spaces of the logo symbol BDB). This is how we translated the happy, uncomplicated character of the BDB shape from the logo design to the secondary style element. The colour and length of the secondary style element can be varied in order to adapt perfectly to a wide variety of purposes.
That's how a secondary style element serves as a visual constant, which runs through the entire branding.
In addition to the secondary style element, the corporate design includes special patterns in different colours. The pattern is a repeating BDB logo symbol in a 45° upwards rotation (positive vibes). The pattern reminds of a tissue paper in a gift box, printed with the logo, just like in a physical boutique. Together with the secondary style element and the colour scheme, the pattern forms a maximum of flexibility and modularity in the branding of the Business Design Boutique.
WEBSITE DESIGN
The website design was created on Editor X - in several languages and 100% responsive for desktops, tablets and smartphones (mobile website). The starting page features beautiful animations and video loops to wow website visitors.
The online shop comes with a clear, neat design, cheerfully rounded corners and ideal user guidance with special hover buttons.
